UNESCO has voted in favour of a resolution denying Israel’s rights to its own capital, Jerusalem, but the UK and US were two of 10 nations that voted against it.
Twenty-two nations voted in favour of the resolution on Tuesday and 23 nations abstained. The vote denying Israel's sovereignty over ALL of Jerusalem came on Israel Independence Day.

Archbishop Welby and Chief Rabbi Mirvis have prayed together at the Western Wall in Jerusalem during their visit to Israel.
The UK’s Chief Rabbi described it as “a unique moment in history”.

Netanyahu: Abbas lied to Trump
PM Netanyahu has spoken out after Abbas's meeting at the White Hous this week saying, "I heard President Abbas yesterday say that the Palestinians teach their children peace. Unfortunately, that’s not true. They name their schools after mass murderers of Israelis and they pay terrorists.”
